Oh my GOODNESS.

Tumblr hasn’t been letting me log on for a really long time! But it’s cool, I figured it out! However, nothing is really that new in my life. 

My internship has been pretty stressful lately. I was really enjoying what I was doing, and then I stopped getting stuff to do, and when I asked I kept getting scolded…it was really frustrating. Today I made a turn for the better by asking another woman for help whom I normally do not work with, and could not put a face to the name. Well, she was delighted for my help and super nice and gave me stuff to do! So I’m excited to be helping her again!

Outside of the internship has been pretty boring, I’ve been self-destructive with friendships and not very happy about that. I hate it when I’m honest with friends because it always messes up my life. The worst is when they think it’s their fault, but it really isn’t, yet I’m too embarrassed to talk to them again…at least for a long time. :/

Allie and I have been having ANTM and New Girl marathons, which have been super fun! Now I just have to get through these next three weeks and I’ll be home in Pittsburgh!!

I was sitting at a panel on voter registration and as they were discussing marriage I began to think of marriage in general and completely derail my mind from voting.  I continued to think and think until I got on the topic of gay marriage in my head.  The only phrase that kept popping up after gay marriage was “WHY DO PEOPLE CARE SO MUCH?!”  By people, I mean the ones that are so against/afraid of the homosexual community.  I would like to know how two men or two women getting married would affect your daily routine?  Please inform me.  What the Hell does it matter to you if gay marriage is legalized or not?  Most of you against it have already been or will be caught in some sort of scandal involving same sex prostitutes, etc.  If you ask me, the constitution of “marriage” ended when you could get a drive-through marriage in Vegas.

As for the argument, “well if gays get married then people will want to start marrying their computer!”  Two things. 

1. A human being and an inanimate object are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT things, so please come up with a better argument.  A computer, stapler, pencil, etc does not have the ability to love like a human being can love another.

2. Once again, WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH?  What does it matter if someone DOES try and marry their computer?  Again, how does it affect your day-to-day routine?  Oh wait, it doesn’t.  Unless you’re a computer programer and the owner gets jealous and punches you…then I could see you caring. 

People spend way too much time worried about what other people are doing.  They’re bitching about this, whining about that, afraid of *those* people, etc.  Not to mention, if you’re going about this from a Biblical perspective, then you better go by EVERYTHING the Bible asks you to do/not to do.  No more shellfish.

I think I’m done ranting.  I hate closed-minded idiots.

I really should be updating this more.  BUT I AM TOO LAZY TO WRITE EVERYTHING THAT I WANT TO WRITE!.

Write a blog on here updating on what I’ve been up to at NWLC and when I’ve decided I’m coming home. :D

So I’m leaving Subway today (the restaurant) and my elbow accidentally hits this guy waiting in line by the door.

Me “Oh, so sorry!”

Guy “It’s alright”

(ooks away looks back at me)

Guy “Of course with an ass that huge how could you not bump into me?”

Me (holding open a door for an older man walking in as I walk out) “Ew!” (I then run away…)

I get back to the NWLC office sit down at my desk and my cell phone rings, it’s a 412 number so I get excited to answer it.

Lady “Hi this is the Highwood Cemetery calling to see if you’re interested in some benefits…are you under 40?”

Me “Yes…”

Lady “Oh sorry wrong number, have a nice day!”

WHAT THE HELL?!?!
